APPLICATIONS & SELECTION

Start with the work. Ask the right equipment questions.

Use the task as a route into the range. The prompts below help frame a purchasing discussion; final suitability depends on the selected machine, configuration and site assessment.

01 / Mini Excavators

Excavation with access constraints

If the task involves localised digging or ground preparation, begin by describing the required working range and the space available around it.

  • What is the narrowest access opening and any overhead restriction?
  • Which digging depth, reach and dumping-height fields need comparison?
  • Which bucket or attachment is requested, and what configuration is it tied to?

Depth and reach references alone do not establish suitability for a ground condition or safe operating method.

02 / Remote Control Mowers

Land care and vegetation maintenance

If remotely controlled mowing is being considered, describe the vegetation, terrain and access before comparing cutting and control references.

  • What vegetation and maintenance conditions need to be reviewed?
  • Which cutting width and cutting-height range are required?
  • What are the control arrangement, visibility and site questions to confirm?

Remote distance is a reference, not a guarantee of control at every site. No safe working-slope limit is inferred here.

03 / Skid Steer Loaders

Material handling and attachment-led tasks

If a compact loader is being considered, name the material, load requirement and attachment. Then identify the machine configuration to discuss.

  • Which operating-load definition applies to the proposed configuration?
  • Do the body, tyres, tracks and attachment fit the available access?
  • What hydraulic flow, pressure and connection information is needed for the attachment?

Machine weight, tipping load and lifting force cannot be substituted for a rated operating-load field.

04 / Small Road Rollers

Compaction equipment selection

If the work calls for a small roller, start with the surface, required operating arrangement and the series to compare.

  • Is walk-behind, ride-on or remote control the arrangement to assess?
  • Which drum arrangement and width need to be confirmed?
  • Which engine and suffix configuration does the quotation cover?

Series-level references are not individual suffix specifications, and do not establish a compaction result.

BUILD A USEFUL COMPARISON

One task.
A written set of constraints.

Record the required access, working range, configuration, quantity and destination. Keep unknowns visible and ask for the missing measurements. An equipment image or a model number cannot establish site suitability.
